Kcon is the International Korean Pop Show that thousands of adoring fans wait for patiently to arrive in their city so they can watch their favorite Korean Pop Stars live performing original and cover songs for two days.
Imagecraft was brought on by Kcon to manage their show this year in both New York and Los Angeles. Not many people know, but our owner, Jason Been started his career doing live sports in San Diego, so being in a truck technical supervising a live event is right up his alley.
What does it take to handle logistics and manage a show of this size? It takes months of careful planning, reliable and professional crew and dependable production partners from coast to coast.
Kcon required a mobile video truck for this show so we reached out to our friends at All Mobile Video and they were happy to work with us. They supplied us with their Revolution 53’ truck, which was more than adequate for the show’s needs.
Kcon brought their own camera and audio crew from Korea, but required Imagecraft to supply a tech crew to assist in the truck with Jason. Jason also hired on long time friend and Korean translator, Soyeon Koo who is an invaluable asset when the need to communicate with the show’s executives arises.
