The Cinedeck EX can be used with HDMI/HD-SDI/LAN cameras and records files in either MOV format through HDMI and single/dual link HD-SDI. The 7″ high-res focus/preview/playback monitor and physical button interface provides for all commonly used functions. A touch screen accesses recording settings and playback transport. The onscreen edge focus, clipping, histogram and waveforms allow for realtime video monitoring, while the onboard headphone jack lets you either toggle between audio inputs, or listening to a mix or all audio inputs at the same time while by viewing the on-screen recording level display. The recorder captures edit-ready, 10 bit 4:2:2 and 12 bit 4:4:4 CineForm Digital Intermediates in MOV format via HD-SDI or HDMI. In addition to uncompressed and CineForm, the Cinedeck EX record all flavors of Apple ProRes (including 4444) and Avid DNxHD. Records to standard laptop SSD for maximum compatibility/reliability.
