The Cinedeck SSD for Compressed Media is a 240GB solid state drive (SSD) for use with a Cinedeck EXTREME recorder. This drive comes in a 2.5″ laptop format and can be used to play and record compressed media from Avid DNxHD, Apple ProRes, and CineForm. An SSD RAID is required to play and record uncompressed media. This drive is hot swappable and can be inserted or removed without first having to power down the recorder.
